Creating an account lets you (and your child) track progress and time spent learning. Tip: If you have multiple children, repeat Steps 1-2 for each.
To create an account for your child:
Next, choose a starting point for your child’s learning journey.
Your child is ready to go! Have them click the blue Start button for any course to start with the very first lesson, or click the See All link to browse the entire course.
Tip: Most Khan Academy math courses include a Course Challenge that can help you quickly find where your child needs practice and where they’re already good to go. To get there, scroll to the bottom of the course page and click Start Course Challenge. These usually take 30-45 minutes and will give you some good clues about where to direct their learning.

Important! This step must be completed within 7 days, or your child’s account will be deleted.
Tip: With Khan Academy, you can be a learner too! Follow along with your child’s learning, refreshing your math skills and building new ones. To join your child on their learning journey:
The Khan Academy mobile app is available on both iOS and Android. Your child can download the app to access our full library of math practice and instruction, along with many other courses, on their mobile device. Have them sign in on the app with the same credentials they used on the web so all their practice is tracked under the same account. (Parent tools are not available in the mobile app.)
